Registration Fees

Cost: $1,350.00

Registration fee includes all materials (see below). Shipping charges and applicable sales tax are extra and will be added to the registration fee when your order is processed.

Program Hours

The FIRO Certification Public Program includes two days of interactive instruction:

  • Day 1: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Day 2: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Participants must also complete eight hours of pre-workshop reading, complete both the FIRO-B® and FIRO Business® assessments online, and ensure that a volunteer client completes the FIRO-B assessment online before the program begins. The materials and assignments will be sent out three weeks prior to the program start date.

Transfers and Cancellations

Up to 14 calendar days before a program start date, participants have a one-time option to either transfer to another program of like kind or cancel their registration by calling CPP Customer Relations at (800) 624-1765. Multiple transfer requests or transfer requests made fewer than 14 calendar day before a program start date will each result in a transaction charge equal to 10% of the standard registration fee for the program you are registered to attend. Registration fees will not be refunded for cancellations made fewer than 14 calendar days before a program start date. Michael R. Segovia, M.A.

Michael Segovia is a credentialed MBTI® Master Practitioner and the lead facilitator for CPP’s four day MBTI® Certification Program. Michael also facilitates CPP’s FIRO® and Strong Interest Inventory® Certification Programs as well as customized in house trainings, working with clients in the entertainment, research & development, hospitality, technology, communications, energy, security, legal, transportation, health care and education industries.

Over his 25-year career at CPP, Michael has also served as senior brand manager for products including the Strong Interest Inventory®, CPI, and FIRO-B® instruments. He has directed CPP’s qualifications processes and represented CPP on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Common Exam Revision, Exam Procedures, and Type Community committees. Prior to his current role, Michael served as CPP’s divisional director of international sales.

Michael has presented both research and application sessions at the International Association of Career Management Professionals Global Conference, the National Career Development Association Conference, the Association of Psychological Type International Conference, and the International Career Development Conference. He has facilitated workshops on the MBTI, FIRO-B, and Strong instruments in the United States, China, Russia, India, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Belgium, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. He has appeared on Talk Radio, You Auto Know, The Jill Tracey Show, Dubai City 7 TV, Dubai Morning Live radio, Retirement TV’s What’s Next, and Wall Street Journal podcasts to discuss assessment issues in career management, training, and development, and has been quoted in publications including, Fast Company, Inc., Training, Workforce, Triple Pundit, and the Wall Street Journal.

Michael received his master’s degree in clinical psychology from Trinity University, specializing in assessment administration and interpretation. He also served as chair of the Industrial and Organizational Division for the Association of Test Publishers.

Sherrie Haynie, M.Ed.

Sherrie Haynie is a coach and performance consultant with expertise in leadership development, strategic planning, and performance management. In her current role as a CPP Professional Services Solutions Consultant, Sherrie works with Fortune 500 companies on developing and facilitating organizational development initiatives and team-building interventions.

With a focus on organizational results, Sherrie has worked with executives and senior leadership teams in manufacturing, finance, and customer service. She uses a variety of psychological assessments to assist with the identification of developmental opportunities. When working with organizations, her ultimate goal is to transform workgroups into high-performing teams while solving real-time business challenges.

Sherrie has a master’s degree in education from the Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. Sherrie is also a credentialed MBTI® Master Practitioner and a qualified facilitator of CPP’s MBTI® Certification and FIRO® Certification training programs.

Catherine Rains, M.S., Counseling

In her role as a CPP Professional Services Solutions Consultant, Catherine works with Fortune 500 companies, universities, and nonprofit organizations to develop and facilitate organizational development initiatives and team-building interventions. With over 25 years’ experience as an assessment and organizational trainer, her expertise includes instructional design, stand-up training, program development, train-the-trainer sessions, and team-building strategies. Catherine is a MBTI® Master Practitioner and a qualified facilitator of CPP’s MBTI® Certification and FIRO® Certification training programs. She is also an expert on interpreting the Strong Interest Inventory® assessment and using it in combination with the MBTI® tool. During her 19-year tenure at CPP, she has been a regular speaker at numerous conferences, including those of the, National Association of Colleges and Employers, the National Career Development Association, First Year Experience, the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association.

Prior to joining CPP, Catherine was director of career services at Winthrop University in South Carolina and associate director of co-op and career development at Long Island University, where she developed expertise in using the MBTI and Strong assessments with students and adult clients. She served as president of the South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers and was professional development chair for the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers. She also worked as a market research coordinator for Business Products Consulting Group and held several other organizational marketing positions prior to discovering her life’s calling as an organizational trainer and career development coach.

Catherine has a master’s degree in counseling from C. W. Post, Long Island University, specializing in career development.
