CPP Expands Professional Services, Realigns Sales to Address Clients’ New Challenges

Meets Growing Demand for Training Solutions in Corporate, Education, Government Markets

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., February 25, 2014 — CPP, Inc. (CPP.com), an industry leader in research, training, and organizational development tools and the exclusive publisher of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment, announced that it is expanding its Professional Services Solutions Group and realigning its sales team to meet increasing demand for customized training solutions in the corporate, education, and government markets.

Catherine Rains has joined CPP’s Professional Services Group—which includes Michael Segovia, Lead MBTI® Certification Trainer, and Solutions Consultants Pamela Valencia and Sherrie Haynie—as Solutions Consultant. Brian McCann has assumed the role of Regional Sales Consultant covering the education and government markets.

In addition, CPP has organized its sales teams into “solutions groups” serving core verticals:

  • Corporate Solutions Group
  • Education Solutions Group
  • Government Solutions Group

These changes enable CPP to offer insight, solutions, and services that are more finely tuned to the specific needs of each market, and allow its sales team to quickly adapt as these industries evolve. With Rains in her new role, CPP’s expanded Professional Services Group will provide applications training and other key services to all three solutions groups.

“Rains’ deep experience in training within the education, corporate, and government markets and extensive knowledge of the MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory® product suites adds tremendous value to CPP's Professional Services Team,” said Dennis Diligent, CPP’s Vice President of Sales and Professional Services. “This not only supports our customers in these markets but also positions CPP for continued success over the long term.”

Meeting Demand for Practical, Solutions-based Training and Development
CPP reviewed and analyzed ten years of domestic sales data to inform this expansion and realignment initiative. According to Diligent, as organizations simultaneously face increasing need to develop their talent and fewer resources from OD and HR departments, they require a more complete solutions-based training approach to growth, productivity, and other challenges. CPP’s recent move better enables it to offer easy, practical methods for using CPP assessments and services to solve specific business problems, thereby maximizing ROI for training and development investments.
