The personality type journey: from theory to real-life benefits
Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers’ goal in developing the MBTI instrument was to make the theory of psychological types described by C. G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives. Formally introduced by Myers in 1943, the groundbreaking personality assessment was the beginning of the fulfillment of a vision that continues to play out in countless constructive ways.
