CPP Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. Expands to Cambodia, Myanmar and Mongolia

MBTI® and other assessments, services now available in high-growth economic regions

SUNNYVALE, Calif., August 30, 2016—CPP, Inc. (CPP.com), the exclusive publisher of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment, today announced that CPP Singapore has expanded its direct market territory--which currently includes Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei--to now include Cambodia, Myanmar and Mongolia, extending the availability of the MBTI and other instruments and professional services into these countries.

The expansion demonstrates growing market demand for CPP’s psychometric assessments and other products in the region, as well a global reach that has extended far beyond its well-established presence in North America, Australia, Europe and Africa. CPP now operates robust distribution channels in India and China, and has recently expanded into Israel and several countries in the Arabic-speaking world where it hosted its 2014 Users Conference (in Dubai). In 2015 CPP also opened distribution of its products into Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Panamá, El Salvador and Nicaragua, through its Mexico-based distributor (HDS). Meanwhile, the MBTI assessment has been translated into 27 languages.

Bringing the MBTI’s insights to dynamic emerging markets

The Myers-Briggs assessment, along with the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI®), California Psychological Inventory (CPI), The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO®), and other instruments published by CPP, has given millions of people worldwide invaluable insights to improve their professional and personal lives. Its powerful framework for creating self-awareness has helped top organizations build stronger leaders and teams, as well as shape more productive business cultures. “The potential of the growing economies of Myanmar, Cambodia and Mongolia goes hand in hand with an increasing need for the kind of insights provided by CPP’s psychometric instruments, as both businesses and individuals seek to perform more effectively,” said Robin Robbins, Managing Director of CPP Singapore.

According to The World Bank, Cambodia continues to enjoy robust growth, estimated to have reached seven percent in 2015 and expected to remain strong in 2016. Similarly, growth in Myanmar is estimated at seven percent, while Mongolia’s GDP ratio has doubled in the past decade. These regions have also seen increases in mobile and internet penetration, healthcare improvements and expansion in manufacturing, energy and other industries. “As a world leader in psychometric instruments, CPP’s introduction of its products and services to these markets validates the tremendous positive change and potential that today’s business leaders see in these countries. This expansion helps CPP achieve our global strategy of better integrating our sales and services to benefit our customers regardless of location,” said Dennis Diligent, Sr VP of Global Sales for CPP.

CPP Singapore will shortly be confirming dates and locations for open houses and forums in Cambodia, Mongolia and Myanmar.
