CPP, Inc. Launches MBTI® Team Performance Accelerator

New Program Increases Productivity and Improves Performance of Teams in All Organizations

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 21, 2008—CPP, Inc., an industry leader in research, training and organizational development tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment, today announced its MBTI® Team Performance Accelerator (TPA), the first comprehensive team performance program from CPP.

Based on the MBTI assessment which is supported by over 50 years of research and use, the MBTI® Team Performance Accelerator is built upon feedback from customers who wanted a flexible framework for teambuilding to address the unique needs of each team and provide tangible, measurable results. It is designed for newly formed, underperforming, and even fully engaged teams, as well as all organizations that want to improve team productivity.

“Optimizing team performance gives an organization a competitive edge in the global marketplace,” said Dennis Diligent, VP Sales and Professional Services for CPP, “This is even more important in today’s economic climate.”

The TPA addresses six of the most significant challenges facing teams including successfully navigating organizational change, effectively managing conflict, and leveraging the strengths of individual team members. Through insights gained from the program, team members can improve communication, reduce conflict and stress, and ultimately work together more effectively.

CPP conducts a thorough needs assessment prior to program application to identify the specific topics that will best address team needs and allows CPP to customize the program accordingly. Included as integral parts of each workshop are an action plan and a Kirkpatrick Level 3 evaluation of progress and behavioral change.

"The MBTI® Team Performance Accelerator gives unprecedented focus to team-building as a skill, process, and area of organizational development," said Diligent. "Now organizations that want stronger team cohesion can analyze their behaviors in greater depth than ever before and develop targeted action plans to improve performance and productivity."

CPP will deliver the program as an onsite workshop through its Professional Services Division.
