MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif, and Oxford, UK., July 27, 2006 - CPP, Inc. (www.cpp.com), and OPP Limited (www.opp.eu.com), industry leaders in research, training, and organizational development tools, announced the immediate availability of CPP’s new MBTI® Step I Interpretive Report for Organizations into French, Danish, European English, German, Swedish, and Dutch language versions and a new-look Profile Report.
The Interpretive Report for Organizations (IRO) helps people understand how their results from the Myers-Briggs® assessment can be applied within an organizational setting. It is a useful tool for organizational and leadership development, teambuilding, communication, and conflict management. Given the product’s expanded global reach, organizations that depend on the Myers-Briggs instrument for their personality assessments can now employ the IRO across an even greater breadth of cultures.
“We’re seeing stronger international demand for workforce development tools,” said Maria Patrick, co-president of CPP. “Assessments that bridge communication gaps between cultures, across generations, within individual work teams, and play a key role in leadership development are both relevant and necessary in today’s global business environment. The additional translations of our assessments allow us to deliver our 50 years of workforce development research to an even broader European base through our exclusive partner in Europe, OPP Ltd.”
“The Myers-Briggs assessment promotes growth and development and has been widely adopted by many organizations throughout Europe,” said Robert McHenry, Chairman and CEO of OPP Limited. “We’re increasing its value for HR professionals and businesses using the MBTI Step I IRO and Profile reports by providing a tool that can be used in multilingual development programs and enabling people to complete it in their native language.”
Each report can be produced in the same or different language from the language in which the assessment is completed. This means that organizations can implement standard psychometric tools with a range of employees in other countries, while reporting entirely in their own language.
The new report translations will be distributed in Europe by OPP, CPP’s sole European reseller and distributor. OPP has its headquarters in Oxford, UK and offices in Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland and The Netherlands. It also has European partners in Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain and Sweden and distributors worldwide.
