CPP, INC., APPOINTS JEFFREY HAYES PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Co-President Tapped to Lead Organizational Development Company

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., November 6, 2007— CPP, Inc., an industry leader in research, training, and organizational development tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment, today announced it has recently appointed Jeffrey Hayes as President and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Hayes joined CPP in 1987 and, since 2004, was its Co-President, a role he shared with Maria Patrick who has left the company to pursue other interests.

“The CPP Board of Directors is delighted with the milestones Jeffrey Hayes has achieved over the past 20 years,” said Carl E. Thoresen, Chairman of the CPP Board of Directors.  “With his deep expertise in human capital development and company leadership in sales, marketing, and operations, Jeff is a natural for the President and CEO role.

“We are grateful for the many contributions that Maria Patrick has made to CPP, such as creating and implementing its first Human Capital department and leading the acquisition of the coveted Strong Interest Inventory® instrument.  Her dedication and commitment to CPP have helped shape and grow CPP into the company it is today.  We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors,” Thoresen added.

In addition to setting the strategic direction for CPP and overseeing business operations such as Finance and Accounting, Consulting Services, Sales and Marketing, and Operations, in his new role, Mr. Hayes will add to his responsibilities oversight for CPP’s Publishing, Product Development, Research Services, Human Capital, Legal, and Technology divisions.

“I am honored to assume the role of President and CEO for CPP,” said Jeffrey Hayes.  “The company has created a large market opportunity: superior products; expert consulting and training practice; solid customer and partner bases; and a talented team of professionals.  We are in an enviable position.  I look forward to leveraging these strengths to continue expanding our footprint around the globe.”

Among the many accomplishments Mr. Hayes has achieved while at CPP are the 2007 acquisition of APP, the company’s Asia Pacific distributor; the launch of CPP’s Professional Consulting Services practice in 2005; the conceptual development and implementation of CPP’s Technology Division; the vision and transformation of CPP into a customer-focused organization with the implementation of its customer relationship management (CRM) initiative; and the acquisition of Xicom, Inc., which brought the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) into CPP’s publishing portfolio.

“I am very proud of the outstanding organization that Jeffrey Hayes and I have built at CPP throughout the years,” said Maria Patrick, former Co-President of CPP.  “The company is in such a strong leadership position that I am confident Jeffrey will lead CPP into a very successful future.”

Preceding his Co-President post at CPP, Mr. Hayes was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Vice President of Operations for the company.  Prior to joining CPP, Mr. Hayes held a number of management roles for international companies such as Marcelo Fiberglass Corporation in the Philippines and McBer and Company in Boston, Massachusetts.  He received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
